A 19-year old Spruce Grove man has been killed in an industrial accident just west of our city.
RCMP say the victim was unloading a large cabinet using a pallet jack just after 8 a.m. Friday at Myshak Crane and Rigging when the load fell.
The young man's co-workers immediately provided first aid and called 911.
He was rushed to an Edmonton hospital where he later died.
The company is saying very little about the accident.
"I know that our condolences and our hearts go out to the family," said Corey Mitchell with Myshak Crane and Rigging.
RCMP and Occupational Health and Safety officials are now investigating. The victim's name has not been released.
