Days after a man died after being hit by a truck on Gateway Boulevard, Alberta Justice has released the name of the accused.

Officials told CTV News Thursday that Tamara Zohner has been charged with impaired driving causing death.

At about 2 a.m. Wednesday, a 25-year-old man died after being hit near the 23 Avenue on-ramp along Gateway Boulevard.

That day, police announced the driver of the truck had been charged, but said the driver’s name could not be released due to a publication ban.

Alberta Justice confirmed to CTV News that there was no publication ban on the name of the accused.
