Edmonton police are now on the lookout for an alleged break and enter suspect who left his wallet and identification behind at home in the area of 109 Street and 88 Avenue on Monday.
Police say they were called to a home in the area of 110 Street and 86 Avenue around 6 a.m. Monday on a report of a break and enter.
Officers say the female complainant reported she woke up to an intruder in her bedroom, who was attempting to steal her laptop computer and cellphone. Police report the man fled the scene without the computer or cellphone, following an altercation with the resident.
The suspect was described as being Aboriginal, 5' 8", with short dark hair, wearing a grey jacket and carrying a black backpack.
Then a couple of hours later, police responded to another report of a break and enter in the area of 109 Street and 88 Avenue.
Police say the homeowner reported he was confronted by a male intruder in his backyard. He reported the suspect was attempting to steal a bicycle from the yard, and was also wearing the resident’s clothes, which had been hanging on an outdoor clothesline. Police say the homeowner says he then forced the suspect to change out of the stolen clothing, and put on his own clothing before letting him go.
Officers say as the resident was putting his clothing into the wash, he discovered the suspect’s wallet and personal identification in a pocket.
Police are now looking for Kent Henry Little, 32, of no fixed address, who is a suspect in both incidents.
