Leduc RCMP responded to an armed robbery call at a Calmar gas station Sunday evening.

Witnesses of the event said three male suspects entered the business at 4710 50 Ave. armed with a shotgun, handgun and baton. The thieves allegedly robbed the store of money and liquor and then fled the scene.

RCMP Spokesperson Laurel Scott says there was a very similar event that occured in Millet on Saturday.

"I can confirm that alot of the suspect descriptions appear very similar as does the vehicle description....but we haven't officially made a link"

Police say the vehicle involved is believed to be a green Subaru Forester which was reported stolen out of Westlock on October 10. The licence plate reads 83M748 and the vehicle appears to be very dirty.

Police are asking that anyone with details about the vehicle and suspects to call Leduc RCMP at 780-980-7267.
