High Prairie RCMP said Thursday that the body of a man who had been missing on Lesser Slave Lake since Sunday had been found.
RCMP said the body of the 50-year-old man was recovered Wednesday afternoon by police.
Officers had been called to the lake Sunday just before 6:30 p.m., over reports a boater was missing near the Hilliard’s Bay boat launch.
Reports indicated the man had been fishing on a small pontoon boat when it capsized.
An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday.
