Boyle Street Community Services staff and clients had to be evacuated after a water main break outside the offices flooded the street and the basement of the building on 105 Avenue.

The water main was fractured during construction across the street from the new Rogers Place – forcing the building to shut down until next week.

Boyle Street’s Sunday Thanksgiving Dinner will be moved to the Boyle Street Plaza’s main function room located at 95 Street and 103A Avenue. They will serve approximately 1,000 people starting at noon.

PCL – Rogers Place’s main contractor – agreed to cover all the expenses caused by the water main break, including the Thanksgiving dinner relocation costs.
