Car drives through window of Whyte Avenue restaurant

Owners of a restaurant on Whyte Avenue are picking up the pieces after a car drove through its front window early Sunday morning.

Shattered glass littered the floor of Opa! Greek restaurant on 104 Street and Whyte Avenue.

Witnesses tell CTV News it appeared a woman was turning right on 104 Street around 1 a.m. Sunday when she hopped a median and smashed into the front window of the restaurant.

Police believe alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
