Friday on CTV Morning Live, Rob Williams catches up with Mayor Don Iveson to talk about his first year in office – a year that’s featured such prominent events as the start of construction on Rogers Place, Edmonton’s new downtown area and the securing of funding from higher levels of government for LRT expansion. Tuesday, October 21, marked the first anniversary of Iveson’s election win over then-fellow City Councillors Kerry Diotte and Karen Leibovici.

As well, Kim Wynn takes a tour of Sorrentino’s Compassion House, a haven for women with breast cancer, and gets a sneak peak at some of the fashions that will be on display for Fashion With Compassion, October 30 at Shaw Conference Centre.

And, don’t forget, CTV Morning Live will be cut short by a half-hour, so we can bring you a special presentation – Return To Popcorn Playhouse.  From Muskeg the Moose, to mining, to cake – hosts Stacey Brotzel, Rob Williams, Kim Wynn, and Jesse Beyer will take fans of the long-running children’s show on CFRN back in time for a modern day version of the playhouse from 8:30 to 9 a.m.
