Edmonton police said Friday that the death of a man, who was found suffering serious injuries outside a store in the city’s west end had been found to be non-suspicious.

Back on Wednesday, September 14, officers were called to help paramedics in the area of 154 Street and Stony Plain Road.

When police arrived, they found a man in medical distress, with obvious signs of trauma. The man was treated on the scene by paramedics and then taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy was conducted Friday, and the Medical Examiner found the 35-year-old man died of natural causes.

His death is no longer considered suspicious, and the investigation has ended.
