A powerful winter storm in eastern Canada and the U.S. is still causing delays at airports across the country, leaving air travellers in Edmonton waiting to board their planes.
Several flights at the Edmonton International Airport were delayed and some others were cancelled.
"I checked this morning online and it was delayed two hours and we just got here and now it's delayed three more hours. We'll see what time I actually get our of here," said Jessica Mommersteeg, who was headed to Ottawa.
Officials are asking travellers to check the Edmonton International Airport website to find out the status of their flight before going to the airport.
