It won't be a completely clear blue sky today.
BUT...we ARE getting some sunshine in the Capital Region today.
We'll get a "Mix of sun and cloud" this morning and then "Mostly cloudy" skies this afternoon.

There's more sun on the way for the weekend (especially Saturday).

Here's the other big news - it's warming up!
Daytime highs have been in the 2-5 degree range for a week.
But, we should hit a high of 8 or 9 in Edmonton this afternoon.
We'll get a double-digit high on Saturday for just the 3rd time since May 8.
That's right, Edmonton has hit 10c just TWICE in the past 20 days.
(Long-term average for that time is 12c)

That cool streak ends this weekend.
Edmonton should get daytime highs in the 10-15 range through the first week of May.
There's a chance we're in the 15-20 range Wed/Thu next week.

PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK: No heavy, steady rain expected in the Capital Region over the next few days.
A few scattered light showers are possible this evening and Sunday afternoon.
Showers and wet snow WILL once again be a factor in western Alberta and across parts of East-Central Alberta today.
