Members of the Edmonton police tactical team surrounded a home in the area of 57 Street and 137 Avenue Saturday afternoon.
According to police, officers “responded to an incident” involving a 30-year-old man, wanted on warrants, inside a home.
The suspect eventually surrendered and was taken into police custody.
Officials said there was no risk to public safety.
No other details have been released.
