A football fan is now nearly half-a-million dollars richer.
The Edmonton Eskimos' 50/50 jackpot got all the way up $435,919.50 -- a CFL record -- after Friday night’s game against the Ottawa Redblacks, and the winning ticket was claimed Saturday morning.

The Eskimos announced the winning ticket – 235466C – early Saturday morning on social media due to the high number of tickets sold.
The winner claimed the ticket at the Eskimos Team Store Saturday morning, but the team announced the cheque presentation will take place Tuesday at the Eskimo Team Store.
