In a see-saw defensive battle for most of the game, a touchdown in the last three minutes allowed the Edmonton Eskimos to defeat the Ottawa Redblacks 26-20 at the 103rd Grey Cup.

This is Edmonton's 14th Grey Cup win, and it's first since 2005. This was Edmonton's record-setting 25th appearance at the big game (Only Toronto (16) has won more).

It was a dramatic finish in Winnipeg before a sellout crowd of 36,634, the second-smallest Grey Cup attendance since 1975.

Jordan Lynch's one-yard touchdown run with 3:17 remaining rallied the Eskimos after successfully converting a third-and-one situation to cap a five-play, 78-yard drive.

The drive was aided by Edmonton head coach Chris Jones, challenging an incompletion that was ultimately changed to pass interference against Ottawa. That result of the call, gave the Eskimos the ball at the Redblacks' 10-yard line.

This was a bitter ending to the season for Ottawa, appearing in its first Grey Cup since a 26-23 loss to Edmonton in 1981. The city's last CFL championship came in 1976 with the former Rough Riders.

Ottawa scored on its first two drives of the game but struggled to put up points after the first quarter.

The contest was a defensive battle for much of the game, especially in the second half as Edmonton outscored Ottawa just 9-4. But after falling behind 13-0 early in the first quarter, the Eskimos outscored the Redblacks 26-7.

Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Mike Reilly was named Grey Cup MVP, completing 21-of-35 pass attempts for 269 yards. Reilly also led the Eskimos in rushing with 66 yards.

Eskimos' wide-receiver Shamawd Chambers was named Most Outstanding Canadian player of the 103rd Grey Cup.

The Eskimos' Grey Cup legacy includes Grey Cup wins in 1954, 1955, 1956, 1975, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1987, 1993, 2003, 2005 and now, in 2015.
