Days after a young man with Asperger’s Syndrome was reported missing, a spokesperson confirmed to CTV News he was dead.
On Wednesday, CTV News learned 18-year-old Jarrett Bortscher had died.
The news came after family members reported Bortscher had not been seen about 7 p.m. last Sunday.
Bortscher had Asperger’s Syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder, and also had catatonia.
According to the family, he had only recently been released from hospital – and had missed several rounds of medication.
No further details were released.
