Police have arrested a fifth man, and charged him in connection to the slaying of a man in his 20s last summer.
On Friday, police announced they had arrested Brenden Polacsek, 21, and had charged him with second degree murder.
Detectives said Polacsek is the fifth, and final, suspect in the death of Mike Motiuk, 22, on August 6.
Officers were called to a home on Mill Woods Road East, before 5 a.m. – when they arrived, they found a man suffering from serious injuries he had allegedly sustained in a fight.
The man was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Over the last few days, police have announced the arrests of Harry Gillis, 19, Kenny Gillis, 18, Chris Muise, 19, and Conrad Hall, 19.
All of the suspects have been charged with second degree murder – but weapons charges were also laid.
