A former high school teacher was handed a jail sentence Thursday – after pleading guilty to the charge of sexual exploitation.
Brad Ashley Glenn, 37, will serve two years, less a day, behind bars – followed by two years of probation.
Glenn was charged in September 2010 with sexual exploitation – in court in April he admitted to having sex with his former student several times.
He said they had sex for the first time when she was 17, and no longer a student of his.
Their relationship began in 2009, and continued for six months – their relationship was revealed when they were captured on video embracing and dancing as a couple in a school hallway after hours.
The Crown Prosecutor had asked for a four year prison term, and the defence asked for 12 to 15 months.
