The trial for a former town administrator facing fraud charges will get underway Monday.

According to RCMP former Lamont administrator Thomas Miller will face charges of forgery, uttering a forged document, counseling to forge a document and counseling to commit fraud.

The charges come following an investigation launched after an incident was reported in 2008.

Miller was charged by Fort Saskatchewan RCMP in May, 2013.

The jury trial has been scheduled to run from May 4 to 22 at Edmonton’s Court of Queen’s Bench.
