RCMP in Grande Prairie are calling the death of a man discovered outside the city a homicide.
Officials said the body was found about 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 in the Dunes subdivision on Resources Road.
The man has been identified as Patrick Kearney, 51 of Grande Prairie.
Investigators said they will not be releasing the cause of death but confirm that a medical examination has determined the death is suspicious.
They also said a bike was found near the scene but they do not believe it was a hit and run incident.
