Grande Prairie RCMP are searching for an armed and dangerous man believed to be involved in a number of robberies that took place late Monday night.
Police said Tuesday that they had located a black Honda Civic that was stolen at gunpoint, along with two pick-up trucks believed to be involved in the robberies.
Officers are searching for a suspect who is described as:
- Caucasian
- Clean-shaven
- Approximately 183 cm (6’0”)
- Possibly wearing sunglasses
As a precaution, students at all public and Catholic schools in the area were kept inside Tuesday morning, but that order was later lifted.
By Tuesday night, police said they were working at a rural property to “continue to attempt to bring this investigation to a safe conclusion.”
