Edmonton police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman, who was found injured in a northside home, and later died from those injuries.
Police said just before 10 p.m. Monday, paramedics and police responded to a call about an injured woman at a house in the area of Warwick Road.
The 54-year-old woman was found inside suffering from serious injuries – she was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
EPS said she died in hospital Wednesday afternoon.
While the EPS Homicide Section is investigating, the case has not been confirmed as a homicide – that will come after an autopsy determines the cause of death in the case.
