It could be three days before crews are able to reopen a road in Jasper National Park.
Maligne Lake Road was slammed by a mudslide overnight Tuesday, which left behind up to 15 metres of rubble.
Parks officials said the slide happened at the north end of Medicine Lake and was likely triggered by a thunderstorm.
Officials said 14 people were in the area at the time and boats were brought in to evacuate them.
A geotechnical expert is expected to assess the area on Wednesday. For information on individuals camping in the affected area, call 780-852-1886.
