A man has died after an incident at the Suncor Energy oil sands site in northern Alberta.
The company said emergency personal responded around 11:30 a.m. Sunday after an employee was severely injured on the job.
The worker was taken to the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre and was pronounced dead.
Company officials said they were working with the appropriate authorities and will undertake a full investigation into the incident.
The name of the man has not been released.
