A 55-year-old man is dead following a two-vehicle collision southwest of Red Deer Friday night.
Innisfail RCMP and emergency services responded to a collision at the intersection of Highway 781 and Highway 592 at approximately 9:20 p.m.
Police said an eastbound vehicle went through the stop sign and was hit by a semi-truck headed south.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene, and the driver of the truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
RCMP are investigating the cause of the crash.
Next of kin have not been notified.
