A 54-year-old man is in hospital with life threatening injuries after an ATV crash in Strathcona County.
On Sunday around 4 a.m., RCMP and emergency crews were called to a serious ATV crash in the Wildwood Village Subdivision on Range Road 214 at Township Road 520.
Police say a passerby had noticed an abandoned ATV in the middle of the road.
The passerby then found an unconscious man laying on the road a short distance away.
The Strathcona County resident was taken to hospital in Edmonton by STARS where he remains in critical condition.
Police say the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor.

There have been a number of recent ATV-related crashes in the province.
