A man was in hospital Tuesday, following a shooting in the city’s northwest Monday evening.

Police were called to the area of 114 Street and 132 Avenue just before 7 p.m. Monday – after a number of people heard gunshots.

At the scene, officers found bullet casings on the ground.

A black SUV, believed to be connected to the shooting, was found downtown outside the Royal Alexandra Hospital – it had bullet holes in it.

A 26-year-old man is in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police released few details on the incident.
