A 65-year-old woman who had not been seen for more than two days has been found okay at an Edmonton transit terminal.

City police had asked for the public's help in tracking down Lillian Makie, who was reported missing on Sunday, May 13.

According to investigators, Makie's disappeared was reported when she failed to return to the Salvation Army Addictions and Residential Centre where she was staying.

Ms. Makie, was recognized by a care worker Tuesday afternoon at the Southgate transit terminal.

Downtown Division officers responded to the transit terminal and Ms. Makie was taken back to the Salvation Army Addictions Centre where she received medical care from workers on staff.
