Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT) have been called in to investigate after a man was fatal shoot by a RCMP member in Morinville.
Officials said police responded to a call of a person in distress Friday around 8:40 p.m. in a remote rural area of Morinville, near Range Road 263.
During the incident a RCMP member fatally shot the male suspect.
No one else was injured during the incident and RCMP said there was no threat to the public.
