Edmonton Police have laid numerous charges, including attempted murder, against Joseph Findlay, 37, following a hit-and-run on May 12, 2015.

At approximately 3:20 a.m. police were called to the area of 129 Avenue and 126 Street, where a man reported his vehicle had allegedly been struck by a Dodge duel wheel truck.

While officers were on the scene, a male suspect returned in the truck and drove onto the front yard of the residence before he reached the rear of the home where the complainant and two officers were standing.

All three individuals were able to lunge out of the way and were unharmed.

Findlay faces multiple charges including three counts of attempted murder, two counts of assaulting a police officer and breach of recognizance, as well as assault with a weapon.
