Two people have been charged with second degree murder after the death of a man in northern Alberta.
RCMP said the charges were laid after an incident on the Kikino Metis Settlement near Lac la Biche on Friday.
Officials said a 38-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to an Edmonton hospital where he later died.
Cody Patrick Hardy and Tamara Myrna Hardy have been arrested and charged with second degree murder, break and enter and robbery.
The duo have been scheduled to appear in Lac la Biche court on May 4.
The name of the victim will not be released due to privacy issues.
