Edmonton police are asking for the public’s help to track down a man in connection to the death of James Dunham Friday.

Police said James Joel Dunham, 40, was found dead in a home in west Edmonton Friday, July 21, at about 5:20 a.m.

An autopsy had confirmed Dunham died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds, in Edmonton’s 29th homicide of 2017.

On Monday, police said investigators were still searching for Kendall Desjarlais, 32, in connection to Dunham’s death. EPS asked for details on his whereabouts and activities leading up to and following Dunham’s death.

Anyone who sees Desjarlais is urged to not approach him, but to contact police immediately.

In addition, investigators are asking for the public’s help to determine Dunham’s activities leading up to his death.
