Edmonton police are investigating, after a man was found dead in an apartment building early Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to an apartment building on 49 Street and 134 Avenue just after 6 a.m. Tuesday to check on someone inside.
When police arrived, a man was found dead inside.
Investigators were not releasing any additional information - but CTV News has learned a person of interest is in custody, although there is no word on charges.
The news comes ten days after another body was discovered in the same building.
That last case was deemed a homicide, and Ashley Dawn Bruce, 29, was charged with second degree murder in the death of Crystal Corinne Bruce, 36.
Police later said Tuesday’s case is not believed to be connected to any other homicide.
The deceased has been identified and the next-of-kin notified, but that information hasn’t been released publicly.
An autopsy has been scheduled for December 3.
