A 51-year-old woman has died following a collision in west Edmonton overnight.
Police were called out to 170 Street and 100 Avenue after a taxi and BMW collided around midnight.
Officials said a female passenger in the taxi has died while the male driver remains in hospital.
Another female passenger in the taxi has been released from hospital while a female passenger in the BMW was being treated for facial injuries.
The driver of the car has also been released from hospital.
No charges have been laid but police said the incident remains under investigation.
