Edmonton police said Wednesday that investigators were trying to identify suspects believed to be behind vandalism done to more than a dozen transit shelters in the city’s southwest over the weekend.

Police said at some point early Saturday, February 6, 14 bus shelters were damaged, with at least one pane of glass on each of them broken.

Shelters located along 109 Street between 72 Avenue and Whyte Avenue, as were shelters on Whyte Avenue between 109 and 83 Streets.

Other transit shelters were also damaged south and north of Whyte Avenue, on 83 Street and on Connors Road.

Damage has been estimated at $6,000.
