Edmonton police said Thursday that a woman had been charged in connection to a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle back in May.

The collision took place on Thursday, May 21 at about 10:30 p.m. – when a motorcycle heading westbound on Princess Elizabeth Avenue approached 106 Street, while a pickup truck heading eastbound on the same avenue attempted a left turn onto 106 Street northbound.

As the truck turned, it collided with the motorcycle.

Police said the 48-year-old male driver of the motorcycle succumbed to injuries he suffered in the crash the next day.

On July 3, RCMP charged the 21-year-old female of the truck with making an unsafe left turn.
