Thorsby RCMP have laid a number of charges against a man, for his alleged role in crimes committed against two young children.

James Warren, 60, was charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.

No further details of the incidents behind the charges were released.

RCMP said Warren had been released from custody, and is under a number of conditions including a curfew, he is to stay at home between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. daily, and he’s not allowed to be around anyone younger than 16-years-old unless they’re in the company of a parent or an adult.
