A day after officers executed a number of search warrants in the Edmonton-area as part of an investigation centred on the Hells Angels, six people were facing organized crime charges.

Officials with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team, along with RCMP, Alberta Sheriffs and members with the Edmonton Police Service, carried out ten search warrants Wednesday, April 23 – seven in Edmonton, and one in Acheson, one in Strathcona County and another in Leduc.

As a result, a total of six members of the motorcycle gang were arrested and are facing organized crime charges: Darcy Lee, 38, Troy Pawluk, 43, Eduardo Bartolozzi, 34, and Dustin Lowry, 35, all from Edmonton, Dominic DePalma, 33, from Strathcona County and Roy Radies, 50, from Acheson.

ALERT said more arrests and charges could be coming, as the investigation is in its early stages, and investigators are still cataloguing evidence.

Further updates on the investigation are expected on Friday.
