Officials with the Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) said eleven suspected drug dealers in Grande Prairie have been implicated in connection to a three-month investigation.

ALERT said the investigation in Grande Prairie wrapped up November 19, with nine individuals taken into custody and three search warrants executed – homes in Wembley, Clairmont and Grande Prairie were searched, and five vehicles were seized.

Investigators seized 740 grams of cocaine, packaged for street-level sales, and $98,890 cash proceeds of crime.

As a result of this investigation, Francois Muhire, 24, Kyler Schwartz, 21, Douglas Hanks, 27, Tavis MacKinnon, 33, Michael Teichreb, 24, Kyle Primo, 28, Thomas McDonald, 26, Kevin Giese, 28 and Katelyn Peacock, 21, are facing a total of 42 criminal charges related to drugs.

Warrants have been issued for two other individuals.

ALERT said Muhire and Schwartz were also charged in connection to a similar investigation dating back to November, 2014.
