NDP Leader Tom Mulcair made a campaign stop in Edmonton Wednesday, and sat down with Stacey Brotzel on CTV Morning Live.

Brotzel asked Mulcair which pipelines he would consider supporting.

“We’ve always said that moving product from west to east makes sense, but we also know you can’t approve any of those projects right now because there’s no longer a credible environmental assessment system,” said Mulcair.

Mulcair then spoke at an election forum hosted by the Assembly of First Nations, where he released a policy into Indigenous issues.

Among the promises, he pledged $1.8 billion over four years for education, $375 million for housing, schools, health and clean water.

“Here is a Canada where clean drinking water is taken for granted and there’s another Canada where the basic right to safe drinking water remains out of reach,” said Mulcair.

He also promised to call for a national inquiry into Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women within one hundred days.
