A visitation is being held for Constable David Wynn to allow people to pay their respects to the fallen Mountie.

The public visitation is being held at the St. Albert Alliance church between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Family, friends, police and other emergency personnel were invited to attend between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

A regimental funeral will be held Monday at the Servus Credit Union Place in St. Albert.

It will be preceded by a procession, which will start at the Holy Family Catholic Church at noon.

Thousands from across North America are expected to attend the event, including Prime Minister Stephen Harper.  

An alternative viewing location for those wanting to watch the funeral will be at the Arden Theatre.

Doors to the theatre will open at 1 p.m. There will be no charge to the public but seating is limited.
