A day after the arena vote, Coun. Kerry Diotte became the first to put his hat into the mayoral candidate ring for the upcoming October election. What do you think of the move?
Since he voted against the downtown arena, he has my vote. He cares about what taxpayers are saying. 200 (32 %) Diotte doesn't have the vision needed to be mayor of our growing city. It’s a bad move on his part. 298 (47 %) Change can be good. I’m open to hearing what he has to say and what changes he can bring to the city 134 (21 %) Total number of votes: 632

Police have spent $42,000 on six new Segways to help officers patrol the city and respond to emergencies quicker. What do you think of police Segways?
It's a waste of money that could have been better spent elsewhere. 590 (39 %) This is a good investment. A cyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a truck. Police say it’s a timely reminder to watch out on the roads. What can be done to ensure less bicycle/vehicle injuries and fatalities?

A clause in the downtown arena master agreement says the iconic Wayne Gretzky statue currently outside Rexall Place will be moved to the new arena. Do you think the statue should stay or go?
The statue needs to stay with the team. If the Oilers move to the new arena, it should too. 396 (30 %) The statue needs to stay where it is. The Alberta College of Pharmacists is moving forward with a plan to ban rewards/incentive programs in pharmacies, over concerns for patient health. What do you think of the decision?
It’s the right thing to do. Pharmacists shouldn’t be chosen based on the best deal/incentive. 279 (22 %) It’s ridiculous. Incentives shouldn’t be taken away just because a few people abuse the system. 577 (46 %) I don’t base my pharmacy needs around reward programs so the decision doesn’t affect me. 407 (32 %) Total number of votes: 1263

Too little, too late! We know how he truly feels. Fans are insulted. 0 (0 %) He’s smart to address those comments and apologize before the situation got too out of hand. 0 (0 %) I would be more inclined to buy tickets if the Oilers won more games. 0 (0 %) Total number of votes: 0
