Peace River RCMP have laid charges after they discovered drugs inside a vehicle at the Grimshaw Rodeo.

Officers were conducting a traffic stop at the Queen Elizabeth Provincial Park Friday when the drugs were discovered.

Police said a significant amount of drugs were found, already packaged for distribution.

Officials seized the drugs, which included marijuana, psilocybin, ketamine, cocaine, LSD, MDMA, as well as a large amount of cash.

James Diebold, 24, has been charged with five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of proceeds of crime.

He has been scheduled to appear in a Peace River courtroom on Aug. 24.
