It appears an elderly woman may have been jaywalking, when she was hit by a vehicle and died Thursday evening.
Police said the crash happened just before 8 p.m. in the area of 189 Street and 87 Avenue.
The woman was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where she died.
There is no crosswalk in the area where she was hit. There’s no word on charges.
