Edmonton police are asking for help in tracking down a man, who hasn’t been in contact with his family since September, 2014.

Police said Jason ‘Bones’ Beaupit, 34, was reported missing to RCMP in Cranbrook, B.C. on December 12, 2014 – but police said he hadn’t been in contact with his family since September 8, 2014.

Investigators said Beaupit was last seen at a shelter in downtown Edmonton on October 19, 2014. He’s been known to travel throughout B.C. and Alberta. In Edmonton specifically, he’s known to spend time in the areas of downtown and Whyte Avenue.

Beaupit is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 195.5 cm (6’5”) tall
  • 82 kg (181 lbs)
  • Long blonde hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Has a beard

Police said he also has a tattoo on his left wrist.

EPS said family members are concerned because Beaupit has been out of touch for so long – which is considered out of character, and there are concerns for his wellbeing.

Anyone with information that could help find Beaupit is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service non-emergency line at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
