Edmonton police have turned to the public for help tracking down a man in his 20s, days after he was last seen.

Police said Russell Stempien, 28, was reported missing to EPS Wednesday, April 19, over concerns from his family that he hadn’t returned home in previous day.

Stempien was last seen near his home in the Windermere neighbourhood of southwest Edmonton Monday, April 17, and his disappearance is considered to be out of character.

EPS said there are no indications to suggest foul play.

Stempien is described as: Caucasian male, about 193 cm (6’4”) tall, 139 kg (375 lbs), dark hair and beard.

He may be wearing white New Balance running shoes, and a grey and black checked coat with a fur-lined hood.

Anyone with details on his whereabouts is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
