Edmonton police are investigating after a man was shot in the leg late Thursday night in a downtown parking lot.
Police say they were called to the area of 106 Avenue and 105 Street around 11:30 p.m. on reports of multiple gunshots being fired.
Officers found a 20-year-old male in a parking lot located at 107 Avenue and 106 Street with a non-life-threatening wound to his leg. He was treated on scene and taken to hospital.
Police say this is not believed to be random.
The suspect is described as:
- Black male in his late teens
- 5’9” tall and 150 lbs.
- He was wearing a grey hoodie, black jeans and black sneakers at the time of the alleged incident.
