Edmonton police are looking for help from the public to identify a suspect in an alleged sexual assault.
Investigators were called to the Stillpoint Wellness Centre and Chi Spa on 112 St. and Jasper Avenue shortly before 1pm on December 5 after a woman complained that she had been sexually assaulted during a massage at the Centre.
The woman told police that it was the masseuse sexually assaulted her. She left the Centre before reporting the incident to police.
“We are looking to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect,” says Det. Rochelle Going with Downtown Division Criminal Investigation Section. “If there are others who have experienced something similar at this establishment, the EPS encourages them to come forward with information.”
“The suspect may have also operated out of other businesses or private residences,” adds Det. Going.
According to police, the suspect is an Asian male in his mid to late 50s with short dark hair and a mustache. He may go by the name “Mr. Wang”.
