Edmonton Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a vehicle that was stolen late Wednesday morning from a north-side home.

Police said officers were called to a weapons complaint at a home near 162 Avenue and 59 Street at about 10:50 a.m.

Investigators are still working to determine what happened, but reports indicate two men broke into the home, and then forcibly detained two residents, before stealing their car.

The car is described as a gray or silver BMW 754 sedan, with the license plate BGF 3392.

The suspects are described as wearing blue overalls at the time of the incident – and they’re believed to be armed and dangerous.

Members of the public are being warned to not approach the vehicle should they spot it, but to contact police immediately.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone.
