Evansburg RCMP are asking the public for help in finding a 61-year-old man and his dog who went missing nearly a week ago.
Police say Benjamin Orest Kravetz was last seen by family members leaving his home in Evansburg on Sunday, Sept. 9.
Kravetz was going to a friend's home. He was with his rottweiler cross dog Daisy, who is black in colour. He and his dog did not show up to the friend's home.
Kravetz's vehicle was found near CN tracks with the licence plate removed.
The missing licence plate is WJX 952.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kravetz are asked to call Evansburg RCMP at 780-727-4446 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
Evansburg, Alta. is located about 108 kilometres west of Edmonton.
