Police trying to track down suspect wanted on dozens of warrants

Edmonton police said the search was underway for a man who was wanted on more than 50 warrants.

Police said Ivan Cory Cardinal (aka Ivan Dumais), 38, has outstanding warrants in Edmonton and Bonnyville.

Charges include break and enter, possession of stolen property, disqualified driving, failing to attend court, possessing identity documents and firearms offences.

Cardinal is known to spend time in west Edmonton and south Edmonton; he could be driving stolen vehicles, or a white GMC Jimmy.

EPS warned Edmontonians to not approach Cardinal, but to call police immediately.

Anyone with information on Cardinal’s whereabouts is asked to call the Edmonton Police Service non-emergency line at 780-423-4567 or #377 on a mobile phone.
